  1. News in Dalslänningen (Dalslander)

    Dalslänningen is probably the best way to get up-to-date information about Dalsland. It is also by far the best channel if you want to reach out to Dalslänningar. Over 80% in Bengtsfors, Ed and Färgelanda read the newspaper, which is published twice a week. It is available to read digitally online, but the paper newspaper is recommended. Especially during the summer because there you can find advertisements for auctions, flea markets and other fun things that are happening.

  2. Provinstidningen Dalsland (Provincial Newspaper)

    The provincial newspaper Dalsland is a daily newspaper that is published three times a week. It primarily covers Åmål and Mellerud. The newspaper is owned, just like Dalslänningen, by Nya Wermlands tidning, the NWT group, which in turn is owned by the Ander family, who control another 15 newspapers in Värmland and Skaraborg counties. A monopoly-like situation, then.

  3. Local newspaper TTELA

    TTELA is the abbreviation and name for Trollhättans Tidning and Efborgsläns Allehanda, which were merged into one newspaper in 2004. In TTELA you can read news from Mellerud. The coverage area is otherwise mainly outside Dalsland. The newspaper is liberal and is owned by Stampengruppen, which also owns Göteborgsposten.


  4. Visit Dalsland (official agency for PR and marketing)

    Visit Dalsland is not a newspaper, it works on behalf of the state to inform about and market Dalsland. Here you will find lots of tips on things to see and do in Dalsland. Visit Dalsland also supports many of Dalsland's small businesses with both expertise and networking meetings that provide a good opportunity to keep up with what is happening in the region.
