For those who are older, it's probably the Håverud aqueduct that people think of first. Otherwise, not much has become established in the general consciousness. Just under 50,000 people live in Dalsland, which is 10,000 fewer than on Gotland, for example. So there is plenty of space. Welcome to move here! The houses are quite affordable. In Bengtfors, you could get land for just one kroner during a period! (assuming you built a house)

How big is Dalsland?

Dalsland has an area of 3708 km² and is one of Sweden's smallest provinces. Dalsland is slightly larger than, for example, Gotland, which is 3140 km². Unlike Gotland, you don't fall into the sea if you happen to step outside the provincial border, but you can end up in Norway. We Dalsland residents often went there in the 90s to buy cheap butter and flour. Nowadays we don't go there.
